Hard, Beautiful, and Worth It
Thank you, 2025
2025 was a crazy year. Sometimes it felt like the worst year. Other times it felt like the best. Right now, what I feel most is deep appreciation for everything I managed to do.
This year, I….
Moved abroad from Nigeria
Started a full time master’s degree in business
Worked 2 full time jobs
Traveled solo to 7 countries
Went broke so many times (lol)
Finished my master’s program (at least all my coursework)
Got a new job as a product marketing manager that lets me live my dream life in Europe
Started writing a book
I’m not sure why I thought a full time master’s plus 2 full time jobs would be doable, but somehow I did it. Some days I was awake for up to eighteen hours just trying to keep up with my life. I cried when I got frustrated. I wanted to quit so many times.
With all of this happening, I had to let go of my newsletter. I was never very consistent with it, but I missed it deeply this past year.
I love teaching. I love writing. But I didn’t get to do much of either in 2025. Now that we’re almost in a new year, I feel hopeful, lighter, and genuinely excited to be back here.
So many of you subscribed to this letter this year, and I’m really happy you’re here.
As a quick reintroduction, my name is Peace, and I’m a product marketing manager.
I created this space to share my stories from working as a PMM, to help you navigate either a transition into the role or your day to day experience better. This is especially for solo PMMs, because I was one for a long time.
It’s the last day of 2025, and I just want to say thank you to everyone of you for being here. I’m looking forward to writing more consistently next year.
One more thing. AI has been a big topic this year, and my take is simple. Do not panic about AI. Focus on working on yourself and delivering excellent work. Use AI to make your work better, but never outsource critical thinking, process, or strategy to it. Those skills, along with your ability to connect the business, the customer, and different teams, are your real superpowers.
I want to leave you with a few things I learned this year.
When things feel too hard, just hang on for one more hour. Then another. Then another. It’s much easier to survive challenges in small blocks of time than to face everything at once.
Taking on a bold challenge with real conviction to change your life is powerful. When you show up every day and fight for something meaningful, it’s almost like magic. God and the universe do not ignore that kind of commitment. Do not be afraid to chase something big, bold, and scary.
You need people. They do not all have to stay forever. Accept kindness from strangers. Show kindness to strangers. Let the people who love you show up for you. You cannot do everything alone.
Everything passes. No matter how messy or exhausting the path to your goal feels, it will pass. The door will open, often with more than you even prayed for.
Do not carry the identity of your past if it hurts you. Let go of what holds you back. Accept the higher version of yourself that is trying to emerge.
I wish you a very happy new year. 💙 🥂

I was so excited to see this pop up in my email. It’s funny how I thought about you yesterday and was hoping to reach out after the holidays. Big congratulations on the incredible milestones and achievements you have reached this year.
Thank you for your support in my marketing journey, especially in my early days. I have a lot to share with you and will definitely schedule a call soon. Have a fantastic year ahead. Happy New Year!
